The 1968 Tasman Series saw the debut of the Gold Leaf Team Lotus 49s. Sadly, these races were the last for Jim Clark. The 1964 Ampol Trial revived the tradition of long distance rallies, while the BP Desert Rally showed that off-road racing had taken hold in Australia in 1975. 1 hour.
